Monday through Friday SUMMARY This position operates equipment to produce Mrs.
Gerry's salads by mixing, operating, and packaging.
Team members ensure products are packaged to the highest quality and safety standards.
When not operating equipment, machinery is to be disassembled and sanitized.
Team members are accountable for plant cleanliness and ensuring it is ready for production the following day.
Team members learn proper chemical and equipment operations to ensure the safe production of our products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Know and follow HACCP and SQF programs.
Know and follow all Food Safety procedures.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Follow all Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
Wear all required personal protective equipment.

Ensuring lids, containers and box labels represent the product being filled.
Ensure weight of each container of salad weighs according to standards, never under.
Check dates on product and box, metal detectors, and weights.
Know all chemicals and their uses.

Monitor air and surface bacteria counts.
