Hire Investment is looking to fill a Accounts Payable Supervisor position with our client in Albert Lea. JOB DESCRIPTION
Compiles and maintains accounts payable records.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
o Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks.
o Distributes signed checks as required.
o Prepares garnishment checks per reports from payroll.
o Acts as liaison between corporate and branch accounts payable departments.
o Answers all vendor inquiries.
o Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files.
o Assists Corporate Financial Officers and branch personnel as necessary.
o Prepares cleared checks for storage.
o Assembles and processes overnight shipments to branches.
o Assists in monthly closings.
o Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
o Performs filing and coping.
o Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Provides team leadership to branch payroll clerks and other staff.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
